“ I was a football player and I got talked into bowling. I became a pretty good bowler real quick because I listened, watched, and learned,” said Hall of Fame Bowler/ Ex Football Player, Bill Slater.
Bowling is a sport in which a heavy ball is rolled from one end of a wooden alley aiming towards pins at the opposite end.
Benefits Of Bowling
- Strengthened Muscles due to continuously swinging and releasing the ball.
- Increasing one’s social skills through team building or bonding.
- Bowling presents opportunities to travel and compete all over the world.
Although this sport is not highly recognized, it brings families and professionals together. “ Right now I think Bowling is underrated because many people see it as fun, and the professionals that are out there are teaching people how to use their minds, eyes, and their coordination and it’s something that makes you want to beat a guy without tryna beat a guy.” Says Hall of Famer, Ex Football Player, and Computer Specialist at NOAA, Bill Slater.
