After two amazing weeks of high school football. The JV and Varsity football teams continue to show their resiliency on the field by getting consecutive wins against Annapolis and South River in their two game winning streak! What lies beneath is that on Friday on Senior Night is that if the Varsity team wins on Friday night when North County comes to town, they will host a home playoff game on their turf after the regular season ends. As for the JV team, even though they don’t have as many victories in their grasp, they still show that they are laser focused and they don’t quit. Some students in Meade High School had many doubts about the football teams this year. But others showed a lot of support and belief in the teams this year. On Friday, we must have full trust in the JV and Varsity football teams going into the Senior Night game against North County. No matter what happens, it will define the Mustangs season!

Having faith in both of the football teams will make this season a successful season. We look forward to incredible things on Friday night, and we’re hoping and believing that the Varsity team wins and pushes their way to the playoffs! But in order for that to happen, they just need to keep executing their play calls and make the right decisions in terms of what’s best for the team in crucial situations, and most importantly force three and outs and turnovers on the defensive side of the ball. If the Varsity team can follow these keys to winning the game against North County, they will make this a season remember. Let’s show and carry that Mustang Pride into the Meade Football Stadium on Senior Night, and the final message for the football teams is to show some guts, grit, determination and fighting spirit! Go Mustangs!
