So here it is, the time of Winter Sports is here! The Meade High Varsity boys basketball team is very excited to play this year with their hands full on the prize which is “winning the State Championship”. They’re coming into the season as the raining Region Champions which sounds incredibly impressive. However, teams in Anne Arundel County will find ways to beat this talented Mustangs team and this season may be different from last year’s amazing run. Still, Meade still has high expectations in winning not only the County Championship which they played a competitive game against Arundel, but to win the one and only State Championship.

It’s gonna take a lot to sustain that perfection from last year heading into this season, but everyone in Meade High School including myself believes that they will have a big chance to play great and win it all! So let’s keep showing that spirit and support for the Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball teams because the stakes are high in the 2022 HS Basketball season! Let’s go Mustang Nation!
