Today is a great day for the city of Baltimore! (aka: Charm City) Starting with the young talented Baltimore Orioles who start off the season 25 games with a 17-8 record! Last year’s season was an amazing turnaround season for the Orioles because of how they where able to overcome a lot of tough moments and add a lot of really good young and talented players to the roster. The front office has done a great job utilizing these players who start playing in the minor leagues working their way to earn a spot on the Orioles starting lineup. As a result, they had the “#1 farm system in Major League Baseball last season. It’s so awesome to see this team continue to build and surround the team with long time veteran players and motivate the young players to play better and get better each and every game. Hopefully the success continues to sustain heading into the month of May and the rest of the 2023 regular season!

Now turning towards the Baltimore Ravens side of things. Yesterday, they finally gave the fan base something to cheer about. They gave their franchise quarterback Lamar Jackson a 5 year deal extension worth 260 million dollars with 185 million dollars guaranteed! After a rough 2 years of questioning when Lamar will get an extension, the Ravens gave the news that we wanted to hear! Now that Lamar signed his contract, the team cannot play around heading into next season. Because last season was a tough season to watch with all the injuries happening, the wide receiving core finishing last in yards receiving and the leadership was never there with the team. So heading into next season, the Ravens have got to step up and utilize their offense so that they can get better each and every week with each other. Visually, the offense has great talent on the roster. They just need to study the play book, watch the film and make the necessary adjustments if needed to make the team as a whole better.
