Yesterday was a great day of hanging out with friends and getting out of school for a bit. Me and my sophomore friends went out to Prince George’s Stadium to watch the Bowie Baysox play baseball in front of a crowd of a variety of elementary schools, middle schools and high schools from different counties in Maryland including Anne Arundel. We had a great time hanging out at the ballpark and socializing with each other as the hours flew.
To recap the game. The Baysox kept the game close in the middle innings. But they let the momentum slip away in the 7th inning and ultimately would end up losing the game to the Lake Erie Sea Wolves by a score of 6-2. Even though the game didn’t go our way, we still had a fun time outside of school.
The fun fact is that I haven’t been on a field trip like this since I was a young man back in elementary school. The last time I had a field trip to Prince George’s Stadium was 8 years ago when I was in 3rd grade and I don’t remember anything at all. But it feels great to return to an amazing attraction you have been to when you were young and it was totally reminding me of alot of the good memories I had there at the ballpark.
