The Meade Mustangs Varsity Football Team on Friday night’s home opener imposed their will against Severn High School by beating them 48-14! The defense got a pick-six in the second quarter of the game, and the offense was able to put up points on the board while going on long drives when they took the field.

No matter what the situation is, these players lead the way and guide each other on the right path to victory. This team is built different and ready to take it to the next level this year! However, this season wouldn’t be a success without the support of the Mustang fan base and the Meade community.

The atmosphere at the football stadium on the campus of Meade High School was fantastic. Everyone came to the game and cheered the Mustangs to victory! Let’s hope that this team can continue to sustain their capability of winning football games through the remainder of the season. They will take on Broadneck on Thursday night on the road at Broadneck to play their 3rd game of the season. Let’s go Mustangs!
