It is officially here! The 2023-2024 High School Basketball season started off with a bang right out of the gate. The Meade Mustangs Boys Varsity Basketball team officially started their season last night, and the results came out exactly what they wanted. They beat Indian Creek High School yesterday at Meade HS by a score of 69-42! Coming off their remarkable playoff run to the State Championship last year, they want to make another statement in making it back to the exact same spot and improving from that tough loss in the University of Maryland at College Park. But this year, this team has alot to accomplish, and they are coming in with confidence to start off the season.

Their next game will be at home on Friday night against Glen Burnie at 6:45 pm. Mustang Nation, we need everybody’s support in bringing home that State Championship as the boys start their journey in returning to not only the playoffs but the big stage in College Park! Let’s go Mustangs!

In other news: Let’s give a shout out to the Girls Varsity Basketball team too! They kickoff their season on the same night as the Boys Varsity Basketball team but that game will be at 5 pm.
