As we slowly prepare ourselves for the holidays, the Meade Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball Teams have proven that they are so resilient enough to compete in tough games. Starting off with the Girls Varsity Basketball Team that has finally beat Old Mill by a score of 58-50 after losing 26 straight games against their archrival! Meanwhile, the Boys Varsity Basketball Team also grinds out a gritty game against Old Mill as well by a score of 65-56 after a tough game against South River! Shout out to both of these teams for putting in a show on the road.

Now they will prepare for their upcoming matchups at home (aka: The Stable) against the Northeast Eagles. The Girls game will start at 5:00 pm, and the Boys game will start at 6:45 pm. Mustang Nation, we look forward to seeing our Basketball Teams again after a 2 game road trip, and cheering them on to victory! Look forward to see ya’ll at The Stable on Friday evening!

In other news: Congratulations to the Baltimore Ravens in clinching a playoff spot after beating the Jacksonville Jaguars 23-7 on Sunday Night Football! The football team improves to (11-3) with 3 tough games remaining on their schedule. They will take on the San Francisco 49ers on Christmas day at 8:15 pm ET while they await the Miami Dolphins and the Pittsburgh Steelers in their remaining schedule as they try to win out and earn the top seed in the AFC!
