The Meade Mustangs Varsity Football team kicked off their season with a glorious 43-6 victory against the inaugural high school Severn Run! The atmosphere inside the stadium was incredible, and it was also interesting to see a lot of Severn Run football players and coaches that were originally from Meade come out to “Da Stable.” As a result, the game itself was controlled by the Mustangs throughout the whole game in spite of giving up an opening drive touchdown.

Meade’s defense was showing no fear and were dominant from start to finish. The offense on the other hand put together some awesome drives to gain momentum for the full 4 quarters and put points on the board. Hopefully this team can keep up the good work and bring in the energy as the 2024 High School Football season commences!

The next game for the Meade Varsity Football team will be at St. Vincent Pallotti at 7 pm.
