When it comes down to Meade and Arundel, their sports competitions against each other will get intense all the time, especially under the Friday night lights! That’s why it’s called “The Battle of Route 175”. The Meade Varsity Boys Basketball team will take on the Arundel Wildcats at 6:45 pm at Meade HS. Coming into this pivotal game, the Mustangs are currently on a 10 game win streak and undefeated in the month of January as they’ve now gone 12-1 in their last 13 games. When these two teams faced off at Arundel HS back in December, Arundel blew Meade out of the water by a score of 63-50. However, this Meade Mustangs Boys Basketball squad is a completely different team throughout the end of December and in the month of January. Meade feels comfortable and confident riding on this scorching hot 10 game winning streak! Now that this team has found their rhythm and chemistry, they’re looking forward to finishing off January strong by knocking off one of their biggest foes in Anne Arundel County. This game will start right after the Varsity Girls Basketball game at 5 pm at Meade HS. Mustang Nation, we need everybody’s support, so come on down to Meade HS to cheer these teams to victory.
