What a week it’s been for Meade High School and the rest of AACPS. These last 2 days of snow have taken a toll on the athletics schedule. Originally, Senior Night for the Boys Varsity Basketball team was supposed to take place on Wednesday night at Meade HS. Unfortunately due to snow, the game along with the JV Boys game has been moved to Saturday. The JV Boys Basketball game will start at 1 pm while the Varsity Boys game will be at 2:30 pm. All these games will still take place at Meade HS on Saturday 2/15/25. As the regular season is slowly coming to an end , it’s time to give a special shout out to our seniors on the Varsity Boys Basketball team! They’ve been having a great Senior year and have been fantastic in representing Meade High School as a team. The opponent that stands in their way on their Senior Night are the South River Seahawks. This is a AACPS team that previously beat Meade by a score of 62-56 in game number 5 of their season schedule. This game should be an interesting match to watch, and let’s hope our seniors will lift the Mustangs to victory this weekend! As of now, the Meade Varsity Boys Basketball team has won 13 straight games and are undefeated in the Anne Arundel County standings with a (9-0) record! Let’s go Mustangs!
