Recently over the last 8 days, Meade Sports have been rocking and rolling in the month of February! We got a couple shout outs to give to the Winter Athletics teams for the hard work they put in to win some awards and some jewelry to display it on the trophy show case at Meade HS. First, the Meade Boys Varsity Basketball team have won 2 awards in a span of three days from earning the In-season County Championship award at Severn Run HS to winning the County Championship at Broadneck HS! The team has been superior and resilient in winning basketball games in January and February. Now they look forward to getting prepared for the Maryland State 4A Playoffs next week when they take on Crofton in their Regional semi-final matchup at Meade HS. Next, let’s give a special shout out to our Wrestling team and our Track team for performing great in the County Championships and showing off what they’re capable of as prideful sports teams! It definitely feels great to be a Mustang, especially when you see those sports teams in action claiming special awards and representing Meade HS well! Hopefully we’ll see some more awards being claimed by our wonderful sports teams, and let’s go Mustangs!
